Damn, did I do ANYTHING last week?
Week 3 of the Game Completion Competition was the least productive for me by far. The perfect storm of site work, family visits, and laziness left just a few hours for me to enjoy the world of Single Player gaming, and my spot atop the leader boars will no doubt be lost to these bastards once the points are tallied up this week. With that sob fest out of the way, let?s get to the one game I DID have time to get into this week.
Sleeping Dogs (PC) ? I have a review of this one coming up very soon, so I won?t go too deep into it, but I will say that it is much better than expected. I must admit, sometimes its hard to concentrate on the game over the loud Rush Hour references and quotes being said in my head at all times, but that still hasn?t stopped my enjoyment of this one. There?s Kung Fu fighting, Hong Kong espionage, and a hot Emma Stone (in game and out.) How can I not like it? At the end of the week, I had Dragon Kicked my way through 3 hours and 12 minutes of it, racking up 30 potential points.
So, this was my first week of putting absolutely zilch on the board and I don?t like it. Expect the wrath of BigRedNY to be fully unleashed from here on out. Be afraid.
